In the local town of Doudeville four kilometers away, the friendly Tourist Office can provide you with information on things to do in the area including walks, cycle routes, horse riding and car routes to follow.  We do supply a small package of information in your room which covers most things to do or see and we also have a library of books on the region.

There are many places of interest to visit in the region within easy reach, such as:

  • visit the parks and gardens in the region

  • follow the Seine Valley from Lillebonne to the Jumièges Abbey

  • visit the chateau at Martainville to evoke daily life from centuries gone by

  • taste the famous liqueur at the Benedictine Palace at Fécamp

  • wander around Dieppe market on Saturday morning, one of the best that you will find in the region

  • take a day trip to Paris by train only an hour and a half away

  • explore the very old timbered Maison Henri IV at the harbour town of St Valéry en Caux

  • walk alongside the smallest river in France at the quaint seaside town of Veules-les-Roses

  • take a walk through the medieval quarter of Rouen steeped in history and memories of Joan of Arc

  • see the flora and fauna in the zoological garden of Clères

  • tour the farms and taste the local delights of cheese, cider and calvados

  • take the William Conqueror route which highlights medieval history and culture

  • play golf on some of the most challenging courses – nine in the region

  • fish in the local lakes (usually Friday to Mondays)
